Checklist: Looking Out For Seniors

Seniors issues have without fail always been top-of-mind for myself and the Ward 6 Office team! This includes, but not limited to:

☑️ Improvements to CityHousing Hamilton buildings at 801 Upper Gage Avenue or 1100 Limeridge Road East

☑️ Maintaining the Golden Age HSR Pass

☑️ Maintaining the Seniors Rebate Program on property taxes

☑️ Maintaining the Seniors Full Deferral Property Tax Program

☑️ Supporting the future expansion at the Sackville Hill Seniors Recreation Centre

☑️ Supporting and celebrating seniors via the popular Senior of the Year Award (and corresponding event),

☑️ Supporting renovations at Macassa Lodge

I will continuously care about and advocate for seniors and their well-being, protection, and safety, with specific emphasis on the frail elderly in our long-term care facilities.
